Stratford Crier Submission Standards
The Stratford Crier invites submissions from local groups and residents on topics relevant to Stratford. We also accept story ideas.
The Stratford Crier accepts unsolicited articles and letters to the editor up to 200 words.
Articles and story ideas should be submitted by email to StratfordCrier@gmail.comas an attached Word document or as text embedded in the body of the email. The author must be identified. Photos should be sent as .jpg attachments and include caption information as well as the name of the person who took the photo so it can be credited properly. Do not send photos embedded in the body of the email.
Articles the require editing will be sent back to the author requesting edits, before publication. We cannot guarantee publication, and if accepted, we may not publish your piece immediately. We encourage organizations to submit informational pieces on their groups or activities, but request that no solicitation for donations, purchase, etc. is made within the article. We encourage organizations to include links to their website within the article. We do not accept unsolicited personal profiles on residents; however, we do accept suggestions for profiles on “Notable” residents.
